Ceridian COVID-19 update

March 12, 2020

Since the news of Coronavirus first broke, Ceridian’s focus has been on protecting the health and wellbeing of our employees, families, customers, suppliers and our communities, as well as to ensure our ability to continue business operations.  Like most organizations, our emphasis has been on preparedness.

As a leading corporate citizen, we have a responsibility to do everything we can to help those who are vulnerable and most at risk (older adults and people who have serious chronic medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease) in our community.  This includes playing our part in social distancing and reducing community transmission.

Our workforce and key functions are geographically dispersed across facilities, ensuring continuous support should there be a concentration of COVID-19 cases in a particular region.  Ceridian’s Risk Management team is closely monitoring this global health event.  We are following the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), and are implementing the following precautionary measures:

  • We have established a COVID-19 Response Team
  • Our North American employees, who perform work that can be done remotely, will be working offsite beginning March 13.
  • Our workforce is well prepared to support the needs of our customers, partners, and vendors virtually.
  • With health and safety as the utmost priority, employees that feel ill, even with mild symptoms, are encouraged to seek medical advice immediately.
  • Employee business travel to or through at-risk geographies is restricted.  All non-essential business travel, whether international or domestic, is also restricted.
  • We are evaluating upcoming Ceridian events and will communicate any changes that may occur.

Should you have any questions, please contact your Ceridian representative.
