The XOXO Customer Success Program team is delighted to recognize Alyssa Young of DeafBlind Ontario Services for Human Capital Management Professional of the Month. Alyssa is the Director of Human Resources and she joined the XOXO community in May of 2017. Since joining she has been an extremely engaged participant in the XOXO community. Alyssa has also been very active speaking with customers to share best practices in the XOXOMatch forum. To date Alyssa has taken advantage of over 500 opportunities, was a CX day speaker, and was the most active XOXO Hub participant at Insights 2017. Alyssa has participated in XOXO programs including XOXOMatch, Dayforce Success Orientation, webinars, INSIGHTS, Reference Networking Forum, social media and others. Her enthusiasm for the program helps her employer get the most out of their investment with Ceridian.

The XOXO Customer Success Program team is delighted to recognize Mary Sandner, HR Manager at Power Construction in Chicago, IL as our featured Human Capital Management Professional of the Month.
Mary has been an active member of the XOXO community since January 2017. She was brought into the company in a unique position – she inherited Dayforce just after the company finished their “Go Live” on Dayforce, missing the entire Implementation process -- and had to quickly catch up. As the newbie of the group, Mary immersed herself in Dayforce Training, Webinars, Email notifications, Implementation notes and the DIG right away and in just a short time later became an overall Dayforce Super user! Her team still jokes with her about printing out her own Dayforce Implementation Guide and knowing it cover to cover.
Mary didn’t stop there. She immediately found value in the XOXO Community and built up thousands of points through networking efforts, attending INSIGHTS as a panelist speaker, participated in CX Day as a customer speaker and by completing any opportunities that come her way on the XOXO hub.

The XOXO Customer Success Program team is delighted to recognize Ashlie Starkey, HR Generalist at Weidmann Electrical Technology, Inc. as our featured Human Capital Management Professional of the Month!
Ashlie has been an active member of the XOXO community since May 10, 2016, completing hundreds of opportunities to be HCM educated, network with peers, collaborate with Ceridian and get recognition for Dayforce success and thought leadership. Ashlie moved into her role at Weidmann Electrical Technology, Inc. after her team had already been on Dayforce for approximately two years. Ashlie helped Weidmann fully leverage their investment in Dayforce by participating in the XOXO program and becoming a Dayforce expert. With her excellent background and a thirst for learning and jumping in, Ashlie has contributed to Weidmann’s more streamlined process. She has mentored other Ceridian clients on best practices throughout the year and in person during the Ceridian INSIGHTS user conference. She is also in the process of completing the Workforce Management Professional Certification process. Ashlie is also advancing herself professionally by participating in the HCM Influencer program. She continues to look for any opportunity to connect with other customers, not only sharing best practices that she has learned from in the last 18 months, but also gathering information to apply to their own internal needs. Weidmann Electrical Technology, Inc.’s success was also highlighted as a 2017 XOXO Award Nominee for Human Capital Management Success at INSIGHTS this year. Ashlie loves to tell her Dayforce story!
Aleksandra is the Compensation and HRIS Project Manager at HM. CLAUSE, Inc. in Davis, California.
Aleksandra joined to Customer Success Program in October of 2014 and has been recognized as a very active thought leader from her participation speaking at events like Dine and Dayforce and our Peer Engagement webinar this summer. She has implemented several different systems in her career and used that experience to lead HM. CLAUSE’s Dayforce HCM implementation to a successful go live in July of this year. Aleksandra is also assisting her peers by volunteering her time for the Dayforce HCMentor Program so new customers gain fast traction in their implementation cycle.
Amy is the Director of Payroll for Creative Solutions in Healthcare, located in Fort Worth Texas, and joined the Ceridian XOXO program in February 2014. During her time in the Customer Success program, Amy has become one of our most engaged advocates! Amy has been a speaker at Insights and other seminars to share her experiences with clients and prospects, and has been matched with many other Dayforce customers over the years to offer her best practices and guidance to help them make the best decisions for their businesses.

Anita joined Ceridian’s Customer Success Program in March of 2015 and has shared a significant working knowledge of the Dayforce application since Palace Entertainment’s implementation in Q4 2014. Her technical skills and application savvy have allowed her to support a smooth and successful HR operation. Anita, a proven team player and networking advocate, continues to share her vast knowledge of the Dayforce application, notably the Recruiting Module, with prospective Ceridian customers as well as new Ceridian customers by participating in peer to peer phone calls. As a member of Ceridian’s Customer Success program, she has earned tens of thousands of XOXO points through her participation in this highly beneficial initiative.
Dr. Martin has been an active member of the XOXO community since February 2016. Anita’s participation in the XOXO program started with several requests for introductions to other professionals, which crossed industries. Anita is able to share best practices and provide guidance and mentorship to other Dayforce customers, which allows those professionals to feel as though they are getting the most out of their Dayforce products and XOXO experience. In addition, throughout her journey with Dayforce and our XOXO program, Anita has become one of our most active XOXO members.
She loves to share her great experience with implementation and her transition to support with others. Because of her belief in Dayforce products and the XOXO program, Anita has always been willing to share her story, whether it has been hosting a peer engagement webinar, guest speaking at one of our Dine and Dayforce events, or acting as a reference for Dayforce. Her valuable insight to others has provided prospective customers with a true lens into the Ceridian Dayforce experience from the beginning.
Anita understands and embraces the key to a successful implementation and ongoing relationship is investment in the three “T’s:” training, testing, and time.

Cheryl Wampler from Tech International joined the XOXO Hub in March of 2015. She has completed over 630 activities that keep her informed, networked and on top of her investment in Dayforce. She has provided suggestions back to Ceridian to help drive the quality of our products and services. She has made herself available to pass on her extensive knowledge of what helps drive her success. She is also active in social media as a thought leader sharing how she has realized business outcomes with Dayforce.

Chris Munson’s involvement with XOXO started at INSIGHTS in July 2016, and he hasn’t looked back from there. Talk about jumping into the deep end, he presented an impromptu presentation to several executive leaders at our 2016 INSIGHTS executive luncheon with only moments notice! In no time at all, he’s become an HCM thought leader in our greater Dayforce HCM community! He’s been instrumental in developing application processes for Spectrum Brands and driving two full implementation projects. He loves talking to other Dayforce users and prospective clients about his experiences and best practice for a successful implementation project! Never shy to be the first to try, he’s partnered to test new hardware for our growing Dayforce product tools.
Chrissi has been an active member of the XOXO Community since November 2016. She hit the ground running at Underwriters Laboratories by quickly getting up to speed with how their Payroll team implemented Dayforce, what their current day to day procedures were and how to springboard things to the next level by gaining additional system knowledge – quickly – as joining a company during the 4th quarter is quite a challenge for many who are not newbies! She immediately turned to the XOXO Community to learn the quickest and most efficient ways to use the Dayforce system to its fullest potential for her company, matching up with other successful companies in the program. As time went by, so did the expansion of the Dayforce system within UL.
Chrissi has helped lead a new project by spearheading the rollout of Dayforce and some added modules to their new location in Arkansas. Chrissi wasted no time in giving back to the community. She is now active on the hub assisting other companies with their XOXO Match needs – quickly becoming a leader amidst being a newbie herself just 6 months ago. She is very excited to get more into speaking opportunities within the XOXO community and is very much looking forward to her first INSIGHTS conference later in 2017. Underwriters Laboratories promotes safe living and working environments for people by the application of safety science and hazard-based safety engineering. Chrissi and her team have adopted that same approach within the payroll department for their internal customers – their employees – by keeping their Dayforce environment one they can depend on for numerous business needs and requirements.
Danielle has been a very active member of XOXO since 2015. She was a speaker at the 2016 Insights Conference on how non-profits can profit with Dayforce HCM by sharing how to track multiple employees across different departments and jobs while maintaining accuracy and overall effectiveness. Danielle continues to share her wealth of knowledge, advice, and best practices for new or prospective companies looking to implement Dayforce HCM. She has participated in a roundtable with other customers on key topics. Danielle also served as a mentor for a company just beginning their Dayforce journey. She helped them by providing insights from her lessons learned and served as a sounding board for advice and questions that ultimately helped them propel their success.
Davetta has been a very active member of the XOXO Customer Success program since May 2013. The Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA was one of the first YMCA’s to deploy Ceridian’s Dayforce HCM and Davetta and her team led the way with creating Dayforce best practices to meet the unique needs of YMCA’s, proving her to be a thought leader in Human Resources. She instills in her team a consistent sense of accountability and service to their employees. Davetta states their adoption of Dayforce HCM has helped their managers get “back to the basics,” developing and supporting their staff to serve their members better.
David exemplifies the spirit of partnership both internally and externally, as he is a strong Dayforce user and always happy to help within ACCO as well externally with other customers, and he is very active on the XOXO hub since joining in November of 2014.
David has held numerous responsibilities within the HR and Payroll functions. His engagement and desire to optimize ACCO’s experience with the product is solid, as he has engaged the XOXO community of customers to gather and share best practices. He has taken advantage of well over a hundred opportunities in the XOXO Hub, is a returning INSIGHTS attendee and regularly engages prospective Dayforce customers to share his experiences. David is a great overall partner and adopter of all things XOXO!
Gennifer has been a very active member of XOXO since 2015. She was a speaker at the 2016 Insights Conference sharing the benefits of leveraging Dayforce HCM for students. Gennifer has served as a thought leader in providing advice and best practices for new or prospective companies looking to implement Dayforce HCM. Gennifer has also spoken at San Francisco’s Dayforce and Dine and has authored a XOXO Success Post about how she has leveraged the functionality of the Recruiting module to move the recruiting and hiring process online.
Jack has been an active member of the XOXO community since Springbrook went live with Payroll, Benefits, HR, SS, WFM, Recruiting, Performance Management and Document Management. They had a successful implementation and Jack realized that he wanted to start to connect and network with other Dayforce customers to share his experience and best practices. His willingness and initiative to help others makes him a leader in the HCM community.
Joan is the Global HRMS/Payroll Director at Prometric, based in Baltimore, Maryland. Prometric is a test development and delivery provider to more than 350 organizations worldwide, and has over 2,500 employees across 14 countries. Joan joined the Customer Success Program in June of 2013. Since then, she has proven herself to be a thought leader by sharing her experiences via peer engagement calls, a case study and a video testimonial. She has also volunteered to speak at Ceridian’s annual user conference, INSIGHTS. Joan is extremely active in providing product feedback to Ceridian’s Product Management team through her participation on our Customer Advisory Board and as a charter customer for Dayforce ConnectedPay.
Julie Cabri is the Manager of Human Resources & Communications at Allied Properties REIT in Toronto, Canada. Julie joined the Customer Success Program in June of 2014 and quickly started to extend her professional network with XOXOMatch while also optimizing her organization’s use of Dayforce HCM with the best practices shared.
Julie has been an active member of the XOXO program. She has partnered with other customers with XOXOMatch conversations, and connected with many prospective customers in Peer to Peer conversations. Julie has even delivered invaluable feedback to our Dayforce Product Management team working on Dayforce Dashboards and other modules. “Julie’s diligence and focus through her participation in charter programs and product advisory boards is the true definition of partnership. She is honest and direct, yet supportive and patient as our products evolve and improve. Laura is the Application Manager - Retail Systems at Aeropostale, Inc. in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Laura joined Ceridian’s Customer Success Program in April of 2014 and has been recognized as a thought leader for her participation on Ceridian’s Retail Customer Advisory Board and will be featured in our upcoming February Peer Engagement webinar series. Laura has over seven years of experience managing and leading large-scale IT projects. Her knowledge and hands-on approach helped lead Aeropostale to a successful Dayforce WFM go live in April of 2011, followed by a successful Dayforce HR, Benefits and Payroll go live in April of 2014. Laura continues to share her vast knowledge of the HCM space with prospective Ceridian customers as well as new Ceridian customers, to ensure they have a smooth HCM journey as well. She has completed over 90 activities as a member of Ceridian’s Customer Success program.

Mary has been an active member of the XOXO community since November 2013, and she has been in the Payroll field for more than 20 years. Her experience with in-house payroll as well as vendor-supported payroll across various industries provides a great backdrop for sharing her expertise with others. Mary is always one of the first to offer her guidance to prospective as well as newly signed Dayforce customers. Those she speaks with appreciate the perspective she shares on best practices as well as lessons learned. While improving her own level of product knowledge with Dayforce training, Mary has provided training program insight that is being used to enhance the training program for future customers. Customers like Mary are a win-win for us all!

Congratulations Matt Jensen - Senior HRIS Analyst at Gannett. Matt joined the XOXO program on July 11th of 2013 and has been an active member all along completing hundreds of activities, but has become much more active since January of 2016 after going live on Dayforce. He has been an HCM thought leader for Gannett during their evaluation and deployment of Dayforce. Matt has taken everything he has learned during the successful implementation of Dayforce and has become an invaluable thought leader in the XOXO community, sharing best practices and learning everything he can to extend the value of Gannett’s investment in Dayforce. Melissa has been an active member of the XOXO community since May 2013. Melissa has become a Dayforce HCM product expert herself and she regularly provides best practices and insight to other customers and prospective Dayforce users. She has attended several INSIGHTS since 2011 to share her product knowledge and network with other professionals. Melissa was also generous enough to host a prospective Dayforce customer on site to share their Dayforce success. Melissa has provided those in the retail/manufacturing industries the benefits that Sazerac has gained in being able to track their product and labor costs to the line. This has proven very insightful to those industries that wish to get an detailed actual cost of their products. Earlier this year; she even presented at the Ceridian office to celebrate CX Day to share the reasons Sazerac selected Ceridian over other providers.

Michelle Meyer is the Manager of Technology and Innovation at Farm Credit Foundations. Not only does she have that awesome title but she embodies what it means. She joined the XOXO Hub in May 2013 and has completed countless opportunities sharing HCM best practices with our Dayforce community.
Michelle is the definition of an “HCM Thought Leader”! As she’s continued to grow and learn with Dayforce, she’s shared those learnings back with prospects, users and Ceridian. She’s been willing to come out from behind the screen to speak at multiple Ceridian HCM engagements, inclusive of Dine and Dayforce and our Ceridian user conference, INSIGHTS. Additionally, she benefits other customers by continuing to push Ceridian through her impactful ideas posted to the AHA Portal that help Dayforce evolve as a product.

Renee has been an active member of the XOXO community since April 2013. Renee’s participation in the program started with a lot of requests for introductions to other grocery professionals where she was able to gather best practices to help her company get the most out of their Dayforce investment. Over time, Renee has become more of a product expert herself and she regularly provides best practices and insight to other customers and prospective Dayforce users who don’t have her level of experience. She strikes a great balance of sharing and receiving best practices.
Renee is currently sharing best practices on how her company has decreased unnecessary overtime hours using Dayforce Workforce Management to improve scheduling for her grocery workforce.
Shahara has been an active member of the XOXO community since June 2016. Shahara and her team moved to Dayforce in 2016 with the need to consolidate many of their systems into one fully usable, real time database. They succeeded with their implementation, completely making their fully manual/paper process a thing of the past – and have quickly branched out to become “super users” of Dayforce.
Shahara has personally boosted her XOXO Community participation by recently completing her first speaking event at Dine and Dayforce in Chicago. She continues to look for any opportunity to connect with other customers, not only telling the story of the road Power Wellness traveled down, but also gathering information to apply to their own internal needs. Look for her in Las Vegas as she will be a panelist at INSIGHTS!
Shahara is currently sharing best practices on how her company has successfully brought many processes together under the Dayforce HCM platform – saving a significant number of hours for their team. This effort has allowed the team to add more modules to do even more with Dayforce than they originally planned, expanding to Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management and Dashboards. She feels that the addition of Dashboards have made a huge impact on their business giving their managers the tools at their fingertips to make fast decisions on an entire library of data.
Sherrice is the Chief Administrative Officer for Community Care, Inc. Community Care is a special needs healthcare provider headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin with 1,000 employees serving eastern Wisconsin. Sherrice joined the Customer Success Program in March of this year. Since then, she has proven herself to be a thought leader by sharing best practices in the XOXOMatch program and has volunteered for speaking opportunities. In addition, she provides stellar feedback to Ceridian on improving our systems and services. Sherrice has helped mentor other Dayforce customers who have been inspired by her helpful insights. Her social media activity has also shown her to be a thought leader in the HR community.
Steve is the Manager of HR Operations at AGCO Corporation in Duluth, Georgia.
Steve joined Ceridian’s Customer Success Program in October of 2014 and has been recognized as a thought leader for his participation in speaking events such as INSIGHTS and our Peer Engagement webinar series. Prior to joining AGCO, Steve spent over two decades within the HR consulting industry, where he managed client partners and consultants in areas such as Benefits, Payroll, and Equity Compensation. He also served in the military as a Captain in the US Army. His strong leadership ability helped lead AGCO Corporation to a successful Dayforce HCM go live in December of 2014. Steve continues to share his vast knowledge of the HCM space with prospective Ceridian customers as well as new Ceridian customers, to ensure they have a smooth HCM journey as well.
Taylor Aschliman, CPA is the Plant Controller at Pretzels, Inc in Bluffton, Indiana. Taylor joined Ceridian’s Customer Success Program in March of 2015 and has been managing the Dayforce application since their implementation in Q4 2014. His technical skills and application savvy have allowed him to fulfill their return on investment in less than one year. Taylor continues to share his vast knowledge of the Dayforce application with prospective Ceridian customers as well as new Ceridian customers, by participating in peer to peer phone calls as a member of Ceridian’s Customer Success program. As a millennial, Taylor is excited to be part of the future of HCM.
Tisch is the Director of Pension, Benefits & HRIS at Verso Corporation. Tisch has been an active member of XOXO since April of 2013.
She has been recognized as an outstanding thought leader by her peers from her presentation on employee engagement at INSIGHTS. She has not only participated in many peer to peer engagement calls, but also has been featured as a guest speaker on a webinar. Tisch also regularly connects with other XOXO members through XOXOMatch guiding them through the HCM space. She has inspired her team to be involved with XOXO activities, and recently volunteered to participate in a customer panel at INSIGHTS!

Since joining the XOXO Program in 2015, Yvonne has embraced the concept of networking and actively participates in the XOXO Hub. She enjoyed attending INSIGHTS, and has championed the initiative within E&H Family Group to work with Ceridian as an advocate for Dayforce. E&H hosted a prospective customer at their offices, opening their Dayforce solution to the prospect, and Yvonne enthusiastically engaged with them in discussion around implementation best practices, providing their reasons for choosing Dayforce. Additionally, Yvonne actively connects to other grocery retailers in her industry through XOXOMatch to get the most out of their investment and to share best practices. Yvonne is committed to being a strong advocate for Dayforce and is both a valuable member of our XOXO program and a proven leader in the HCM community.
Karen Gorsuch is the Payroll and HRIS Manager at JTEKT North America Corporation in Westlake, OH. Karen joined Ceridian’s Customer Success Program in April of 2015 and has 25 years of experience managing all aspects of payroll processing. Her passion for payroll and her leadership skills helped lead JTEKT to a successful Dayforce implementation in April of 2013. Karen continues to share her vast knowledge of the Dayforce application with prospective Ceridian customers as well as new Ceridian customers, by participating in XOXOMatch and hosting peer to peer phone calls as a member of Ceridian’s Customer Success program.
