Leagh Turner leads all daily operations globally. Along with her leadership team, Leagh has refined Ceridian’s focus on innovation and growth, while also advancing the company’s workforce with a particular emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion, and talent development. Together, they maintain a steadfast commitment to helping customers around the globe embrace intelligent HCM technology to drive quantifiable value for the business and their people.
A respected leader and seasoned technology executive with a career in the software industry, prior to joining Ceridian, Leagh served in many senior leadership roles at SAP including Global Chief Operating Officer for their Strategic Customer Program, as well as Chief Operating Officer in EMEA, and Canada prior to that. She also held sales leadership positions at MicroStrategy, Oracle, and Xerox, where she began her career in sales.
Leagh is also a member of the board of directors for Manulife and Plan International Canada, a not-for-profit that focuses on improving lives of children around the world. A strong advocate for women in leadership, diversity and diverse thinking, she has twice been recognized by Women’s Executive Network on their Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women list.
Leagh is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
As Chief Customer Officer, Chris Armstrong is responsible for overall customer experience and satisfaction through his leadership of the Global Customer Office (GCO), a team that comprises Services, Support, and Customer Relationship Executives. Collaborating closely with Sales, the GCO’s prime directive is to ensure a seamless experience and maximum value for customers throughout their entire lifecycle with Ceridian.
Chris joined Ceridian in 2004, and since then has held several commercial and operational leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer where he oversaw operations, customer support and information technology globally. His experience with Ceridian has provided him with a well-rounded understanding of the HCM Marketplace and accurate perspective on specific customer needs. Chris’ involvement in building Ceridian’s customer support team has been instrumental in the overall success of the organization and its reputation for customer service excellence.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas A&M University, has been active in the United Way, and twice served as the organization’s National Chair.
Noémie Heuland is Chief Financial Officer at Ceridian. She is responsible for the full scope of global finance functions, including investor relations, global financial strategy, financial planning, reporting and analysis, tax, treasury, and purchasing.
Prior to joining Ceridian, Noémie was at SAP, where she worked in Paris and Miami, most recently as CFO for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to SAP, she was at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris and Los Angeles. Her experience includes managing large teams at scale with responsibility for financial planning and analysis, complex commercial structuring, SEC reporting, and mergers & acquisitions. During her time at PWC, she advised SAP in the acquisition process of BusinessObjects.
She is a Certified Public Accountant, and has a Masters in Management from Nantes School of Management. In addition, Noémie is a strong advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, having chaired the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for SAP in Latin America. She is an active and frequent speaker on finance and technology topics as well as on the role of women in tech. She is a founding board member of “La French Tech”, a French government and private sector partnership, in Miami.
Joe Korngiebel leads Ceridian’s global team of product and technology experts, and is responsible for developing and executing on the company’s ambitious strategy to ensure its innovations continue to surpass customer expectations, disrupt the industry, and drive forward the company’s position as a world-class HCM partner.
Prior to Ceridian, Joe served as Chief Technology Officer at Workday after a 14-year tenure that included significant roles as SVP Experience Technology, VP of Mobile Applications, and founder of Workday Labs where he drove new innovations across the HCM landscape. He was also a central executive leader throughout the company’s sustained global growth. A seasoned technologist, Joe has also been an enterprise architect at Oracle, and before that, a member of PeopleSoft’s (acquired by Oracle in 2005) engineering and product development teams; he began his career as an analyst and programmer at American Management Systems.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics and Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, CA, where he is also an industry advisory board member. In addition, he serves as a board member at the PulsePoint Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers everyday citizens to provide life‐saving assistance to victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest using a simple mobile app.
As Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Bill McDonald is responsible for Ceridian’s global legal activities and compliance programs, including commercial transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, privacy, product compliance, and risk.
Bill rejoined Ceridian in February 2016 as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Prior to that, he was a partner with the law firms of Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP, and Fox Rothschild LLP in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where his practice focused on advising public and private companies on corporate, securities, and transactional issues. Previously, Bill held leadership roles in the legal departments of Ceridian and SUPERVALU INC.
Currently a member of the board of directors of Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, Bill also has served as a board member for Second Harvest Heartland, Special Olympics Minnesota, and the Minnesota High Tech Association.
Bill received his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law in Nashville, Tennessee, and his undergraduate degree in finance and business economics from the University of Notre Dame.
As Chief Information Officer, Carrie Rasmussen leads all aspects of global IT at Ceridian – from daily operations to internal corporate strategies on data analytics, and technology operations – with the objective of creating an optimized infrastructure and data strategy across all operations.
Carrie is an industry veteran with 20+ years of business experience and IT expertise leading enterprise organizations. Most recently, she was Chief Information Officer at The Save Mart Companies, where she transformed the company’s IT division delivering multi-year roadmaps, organizational alignment, and governance.
She began her career in Information Technology at Safeway Inc. where she held multiple senior leadership roles across IT, overseeing technology strategy, development, and support for all aspects of the business. Carrie rose to the position of Group Vice President of IT, where she led the merger integration between Safeway and Albertson’s. Carrie brings extensive background in merger integration, advanced analytics, digital marketing, commerce and system modernization.
A graduate of California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, and a master’s degree in Agriculture Business Management.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Rocky Subramanian oversees all sales and sales ecosystem activities globally, including developing and leading go-to-market strategies, customer success, industry, solution and value advisory, and sales operations, across all verticals and industries for Ceridian’s complete portfolio of products.
Immediately prior to Ceridian, he was a member of SAP’s senior leadership team as the Managing Director (MD) for the U.S. Midwest region, which is among the company’s largest globally, after moving through the organization in a series of technical, sales-focused and leadership roles. By the end of his tenure as MD, the region was renowned for consistently high double-digit growth, a people-centric culture, and impressive employee and customer satisfaction scores. A trusted customer advisor and executive sponsor to many business transformations, Rocky was also co-chair of SAP’s North America Diversity & Inclusion council, a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility governance committee, and a staunch supporter of the company’s sales academy for early talent.
He was previously with PeopleSoft/Oracle in global implementation services, solution advisory, and enterprise architect roles, and prior to that, worked at Renaissance Consulting engineering and delivering turnkey software solutions. He began his career as a software developer at NCS/Pearson.
Rocky holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and computer science from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Passionate about entrepreneurship, he advises early-stage start-ups as a volunteer mentor, and supports organizations with missions focused on education accessibility and eradicating hunger.
Leading the Human Resources organization, Susan Tohyama is responsible for designing and driving the global people and culture strategy, including talent development, recruiting, diversity, compensation, benefits, and employee engagement.
Susan has more than 20 years of HR leadership experience and joined Ceridian in 2020 from Vice Media as their CHRO. She has held leadership roles at some of the world’s best-known multinational-brands across six continents including Starbucks, the NBA, and Disney. Throughout her career, Susan has built a reputation as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner who champions a people-centric culture built on diversity, equality, and opportunity. She is most passionate about building collaborative, innovative organizations that are rewarding places to work.
She graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, in London, ON.
Warren Perlman is the Chief Digital Officer at Ceridian.
Warren was previously co-founder and vice president of infrastructure and compliance at Dayforce. Prior to that, Warren was a co-founder of Workbrain, where he held several positions in senior management. With over 16 years of industry experience, Warren has held leadership roles at a variety of leading technology companies.
Warren attended York University in Toronto.
Kim Gastle is responsible for all aspects of sales go-to-market and sales strategies globally, and leads Ceridian’s enablement, commercial excellence, and partner and alliances teams. Working in close collaboration with the sales organization, Kim’s mission is to create seamless experiences across the entire customer lifecycle.
Prior to joining Ceridian in 2019, Kim was Vice President of Regional Sales for SAP Canada, and led a high-performing sales force through large, complex customer engagements across the company’s full range of cloud, SaaS and on-premise products. Throughout her 16-year tenure at SAP, Kim worked closely with regional, North American and global customers in sales leadership roles that include Director of Solution Sales, and Global Account Director. In a career dedicated to software and technology, Kim has also been a member of sales teams at DataMirror, and Ricoh.
A passionate advocate for women in tech, and early career talent, Kim serves as an active mentor in both formal and informal programs.
As Global Head of Marketing, Brendan Reid is responsible for Ceridian’s global marketing strategy, brand initiatives, product marketing, customer acquisition and partner marketing functions. In his role, he is focused on driving brand awareness, growing market share, and building customer advocacy across the global markets Ceridian serves. Brendan brings deep industry expertise and a commitment to delivering value to customers, ensuring employers can thrive using technologies like Dayforce.
During his over 20 year marketing career, Brendan has held leadership roles at several prominent technology companies, most recently as VP Marketing for Desire2learn. He is also an accomplished author and blogger focusing on careers, leadership, and marketing topics.
Brendan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick.
Seth Ross leads the vision and growth strategy behind Dayforce Wallet, Ceridian’s game-changing innovation that disrupts the traditional payday, and the team dedicated to extending the platform to ensure the company’s successful entry into new business-to-consumer markets around the world.
Prior to joining Ceridian, Ross led Green Dot Corporation's Banking-as-a-Service business, where he helped build new, embedded financial services businesses with partners like Apple, Uber, Intuit, Stash and others. Before that, he led the global airline partnerships strategy for American Express and helped launch Amex Advance, a division focused on data commercialization. Ross started his career as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman, focused on the global airline industry.
Ross holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ivey Business School at Western University in London, Ontario, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Stephen Moore is responsible for all customer operations and overall leadership of the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region. His focus is to empower the APJ team to deliver world-class innovations and experiences to customers while helping them optimize performance using Ceridian’s intelligent HCM and deep business insights.
Steve joined Ceridian in 2019 after a nine-year career with SAP, most recently as the Executive Director for the Australia New Zealand region during a period of sustained transformation. He has held a range of senior executive positions throughout APJ including managing director roles at Unisys, and Lawson Software; General Manager at Fujitsu Consulting; and leading PeopleSoft’s APJ Services business. Common to all are his sustained focus on customers, developing high performing teams, and delivering significant business growth.
A graduate of the Master of Information Technology program at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, Steve also holds degrees in economic history, and public administration, and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A recognized CSR leader, he has sponsored several ground-breaking initiatives, and is particularly passionate about driving the advancement of the social enterprise sector and empowering disadvantaged young people.
Wendy is responsible for the commercial and strategic growth across Ceridian Europe. Having spent most of her career working with organizations undertaking Global HCM and payroll transformation, she has a wealth of experience and has developed long-term partnerships with clients over many years in the HCM industry.
As a highly active member of the global HR and payroll community, Wendy knows the challenges clients face in managing global businesses with people in multiple territories and jurisdictions. Wendy has been part of the Ceridian family before and re-joined in January 2019 to drive growth across Europe. Over the course of her career, she has held roles in the industry across several ecosystems, which now helps her drive informed decisions to support a growing, scaling business.
Her drive and leadership have seen Wendy receive recognition of her talents over many years and in several industry organizations. Wendy has a Masters Degree from Glasgow University.
As the Managing Director of Ceridian’s Mauritius business, Vidia Mooneegan is responsible for the region’s profitability, direction, and customer-related activities. He leads teams dedicated to sales and operations, and works closely with businesses throughout Mauritius, leveraging the entire Ceridian ecosystem to ensure their success.
Vidia joined Ceridian in 2007 as Senior Vice President of the region, and has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in the U.S., Canada, UK, Europe and South Africa. Prior to Ceridian, Vidia was Managing Director of TNT Document Services, serving customers in the UK and mainland Europe. He also worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. in London, UK, and began his career at Schlumberger Oilfield Services in Cambridge, UK.
He holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University in Birmingham, England, and has participated in a senior executive program at Harvard Business School. Vidia’s contributions to the IT industry in Mauritius have been recognized by several award-granting organizations including CEO Global Africa and the British Computer Society, and he is a leader in the IT and business communities as chair of the Fintech Task Force, and board member of the Mauritius Artificial Intelligence Council, among other posts.
As Head of Accounting & Financial Reporting, Jeff Jacobs is responsible for global accounting, billing, collections and reporting as well as internal controls over financial reporting since May 2020.
Jeff joined Ceridian in April 2015 as Director, Finance and served as Vice President, Finance from December 2016 until May 2020. Prior to joining Ceridian, he held accounting and finance roles at General Mills, Inc., and started his career with KPMG LLP with increasing responsibilities up to senior manager-audit.
Jeff is a certified public accountant (inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Karen Variya leads the execution of Ceridian’s comprehensive strategic plan and cross-functional corporate planning process to further accelerate the organization’s rapid growth.
Karen joined Ceridian in 2019 as Vice President of Finance. Before Ceridian, Karen drove top- and bottom-line growth at Procter & Gamble for over 17 years as a senior member of the finance team. During her tenure, she was Vice President of Finance, Canadian Sales and Operations where she provided financial leadership across P&G’s Canadian business, and also held three Director of Finance positions that spanned responsibilities from corporate strategy development to financial leadership and execution for P&G corporately, within the Global Home Care business and Canadian sales division.
Karen earned a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Finance from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Erik Zimmer has extensive experience in finance, operations, innovation, sales, and strategy. Prior to joining Ceridian, Erik served as a managing director of Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P., and as an operating advisor for numerous Fortune 1000 organizations. Since 2011, Erik has acted as a strategic advisor of Ceridian, and had deep involvement in the design and build of our Dayforce Activate technology that led to a significant reduction in implementation cycle times for our customers.
Erik received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. He received his Master of Engineering (MEng), Design and Operations Management degree from McCormick School of Engineering, Northwestern University, and his MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
