New Hampshire Frequency of Payment (the “Bill”)

Background on the Final Act:

This change in the law provides clients with more flexibility to pay employees on weekly or bi-weekly basis.

General Impact to Employers:

  • Employers now have the option of paying employees bi-weekly. The previous version of law required that employers pay employees every 8 days.
  • Employers may choose to pay employees on a weekly or biweekly basis.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their pay cycles comply with all applicable pay frequency requirements.
