Her mission is to demonstrate to organizations how articulate, compelling employee communications can achieve better business results through healthier and happier employees. When employees take full advantage of their health care, wellness and financial plans, they become more engaged and less stressed at work. Jen has worked with dozens of companies to develop communication strategies that get employees to use and recognize the true value of their employer-sponsored benefits packages. Prior to starting Benz Communications, Jen worked at Hewitt Associates for seven years. 

Today, Jen is especially helping organizations turn the unique challenges of health care reform communications into strategic opportunities to build workforce trust and loyalty for years to come. She and her team are also making it easy for companies to use social media for benefits communication through their articles and toolkits. 

She is an active member of the Council for Communication Management, the International Association of Business Communicators, the Northern California Human Resources Association and Women in Consulting. She contributes to Employee Benefit Adviser, and Employee Benefit News, and has published articles and is widely quoted in many industry publications.
