Fundamentals
Ceridian payroll clients learn how to set up company-level HR information such as job codes and business units; review company-level payroll information such as tax tables and payroll processing schedules; maintain employee HR and payroll information such as completing the new hire process, terminating employees, and rehiring employees; and make employment, job, and compensation changes.
Payroll
In this workshop, payroll clients learn how to set up company-level payroll information, such as pay types, banks, and deductions; maintain employee payroll information such as tax changes, direct deposit, and deductions; enter payroll cycle data batches and check entries; begin a new payroll cycle, receive and translate files; and prepare and transmit payroll files for processing.
Essentials of Payroll Auditing
This workshop provides real-life examples with a hands-on practical approach to reconciling payroll data. Topics covered include completing a thorough pre-processing audit; interpreting messages that display on post-processing reports; researching and resolve payroll errors and messages; posting your current payroll to an Excel spreadsheet.
Reporting Series (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced)
This progressive series of workshops cover a variety of payroll and HR reporting topics for beginning and experienced payroll system users. Hands-on exercises and small class sizes mean that each participant comes away from each workshop with in-depth, practical knowledge of payroll reporting processes.
