Did you know that stress is the number one issue impacting employee productivity? The annual cost of employee stress in terms of lost productivity is more than $300 billion for American employers. Stressed employees just can't do their jobs as well. The impacts of employee stress can affect co-workers, employee morale, absenteeism and ultimately your business.
Ceridian Stress Management uses a cognitive behavioral approach to help individuals manage occupational stress. Using assessment tools, goal setting, study guides, and personal coaching, our stress management program focuses on work-related stress with an emphasis on changing attitudes, expectations and methods of coping.
The goal is to increase job satisfaction, decrease stress symptoms and improve productivity. Ceridian stress management's cognitive approach is widely accepted as the most effective work place program strategy, even more effective than organizational-focused approaches. By the end of the stress management health coaching program, 11 percent of participants reported improved job satisfaction.
How We Measure Success
Ceridian Stress Management positively impacts the way employees relate to people and situations, which translates into cost savings in the areas of disability, excess illness and absenteeism. We measure and report four outcome categories including quality of work, cognitive responses, physical health symptoms, and absenteeism. Our most recent outcomes report indicated 40 percent of participants increased their ability to cope with stress after six months.
Using proven behavioral theory allows us to tailor the treatment to the individual's readiness and ability to change target behaviors.
