New! Cardiovascular health coaching program
Keeping employees healthy and productive is a top priority for many of our clients. Ceridian LifeWorks can help you address these challenges with a continuum of health coaching programs for tobacco cessation, weight management and stress management. Now, we're happy to introduce a new program called Ceridian Cardiovascular Health Management to help your employees lower their risk of deadly cardiovascular disease or prevent a recurrence.

The American Heart Association reports that heart disease and stroke are the number one and three killers, respectively, for men and women in the U.S. and 79.4 million people have some form of cardiovascular disease. With Cardiovascular Health Management, we can help your employees make positive behavior changes and reduce their risks while helping you manage rising health care costs, employee productivity and absenteeism.

Guided by our scientific advisory board of experts, all of our health coaching programs establish a unique and direct partnership between a dedicated coach and participant. We focus on behavioral change and a whole-person approach, so our programs consistently achieve outcomes above national averages with customers realizing an average $2 return on investment for every $1 spent.

Expanded multinational EAP and work-life services
After an extensive review, we've selected IPS Worldwide as our partner to offer an expanded portfolio of multinational EAP and work-life services built on best practices and tailored to meet unique cultural needs. IPS has more than 25 years of experience providing services to companies across the globe.

Ceridian Multinational EAP services will provide access to a global network of clinicians with counselors in countries abroad and services in native languages. Services include counseling consultations, trauma services, training and consulting.

Ceridian Multinational Work-Life is an online resource and referral program available through portal sites in select countries throughout Asia Pacific, Europe, South Africa and South America. These are nonfacilitated online programs that feature articles, child care locators, elder care information, suggested reading and multimedia resources.

LifeWorks Online updates
This month, several updates for LifeWorks Online went into production. They include:

• Retirement calculator. Access to the retirement calculator has been improved and it's now more accessible as a separate tool.
• Discussion Boards. Formerly called Bulletin Boards, this feature has new topics and provides a forum for participants to talk about issues with other users.
• RSS feeds. Participants can get content delivered via the reader of their choice. Participants may subscribe once on a specific feature page or on the RSS page, which lists all content available for subscription.
• Consultation reminders. We've added reminders to pages telling participants they can call LifeWorks for consultation on certain topics that they're researching.
• New toolkit available: Applying to College
