GAB Robins, one of the world's leading claims management and loss adjusting companies, has implemented Ceridian Payroll Solution 1, to fulfil its payroll processing and cost reporting requirements.
Previously GAB Robins had been using a payroll software package run in-house. They were dissatisfied with the support from the software supplier and also the continuously spiralling costs. They decided to change from in-house to a bureau service to improve the level of service. Having assessed alternative suppliers they chose Ceridian Centrefile for both service and functionality.
Ruth Kendall, payroll manager at GAB Robins, says:
"Ceridian Payroll Solution 1 was implemented very easily and is a great improvement on what we had before. It fulfils our requirement to split employee costs for the general ledger, and has very easy-to-use reporting. The support I have received from Ceridian Centrefile throughout the purchasing process and since the system went live has been excellent. Having experienced both in-house and bureau solutions, I would never recommend taking the payroll processing in-house."
Nigel Polglass, acting managing director of Ceridian Centrefile, says:
"This feedback from GAB Robins confirms that Ceridian Payroll Solution 1 has achieved the business objectives we claimed at its launch in July: it delivers the best payroll solution available on the market today, combining ease-of-use, functionality and service."
