Privacy: Best practices in the workplace

The workplace is the number one source of identity theft - the fastest growing crime in the United States. To minimize risk and protect the privacy of employee data, employers of all sizes need to examine their current business practices whether your company is multinational or based solely in the US. In this web forum, payroll and human resource (HR) professionals will learn how to create a culture that supports, encourages, and rewards attention to individual privacy, trust, and respect. It will include an introduction to privacy and security issues, including identity theft and compliance requirements. Carla Gracen is Senior Product Manager for Ceridian. Carla has more than 25 years experience in human resources, payroll, compliance, and benefits administration. She is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) with the American Payroll Association (APA).
