Tahra Kerman?Mastour brought this suit against her former employer, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, (FINRA). Kerman was employed as an attorney by FINRA for approximately eight years before she was terminated. Kerman claimed she was terminated as a result of gender and religious discrimination and in retaliation for her participation in a committee advocating for changes to FINRA's maternity leave policy

The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs has filed an administrative complaint against federal contractor Cargill Meat Solutions, alleging that the company systematically discriminated against 4,069 qualified female, white, black, Hispanic and Native American applicants who sought entry-level production jobs at its Springdale facility.
