Ceridian in the Community

The PayBack Foundation - Ceridian's own charity

Twin Peaks Payback Challenge

Ceridian in Mauritius is very much involved in community work. Through our registered charity, The PayBack Foundation, we support individual children with physical or learning difficulties, as well as able-bodied children. We can provide them with special equipment, medical treatment and ongoing support that their families can't afford. The Foundation makes a real difference for disadvantaged children. PayBack has an internal charity committee and is entirely funded through employee fundraising.

The PayBack Foundation has been active in Mauritius since August 2003 and was registered as a charity on 10th June 2005 (reg. number 8697). During this time we've organised a wide range of internal fundraising activities as well as our Annual PayBack Challenge, which is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the Foundation as well as vital funds. It also gives those taking part a chance to achieve a goal such as mountain climbing or trekking.

We sponsor children up to seventeen years of age. The Foundation has provided help such as hearing aids, skin surgery and special equipment for the handicapped, such as footwear and wheelchairs. We also hold an annual Christmas lunch for needy children.

All the money for the Foundation is raised purely by Ceridian staff. Total sponsorships so far are as follows:
Year 2003 -2005: - Rs 66,272.00
