Structure

The Mauritius organisation is structured geographically and functionally. As such there are close co-operations at both these levels. Geographically, there are teams serving requirements from the UK, US and Canada. Functionally, there are departments that perform IT development, Finance back-office and HR & Payroll Operational functions. The co-operation is achieved through the local management team and in-country managers, who are ultimately the owners for each department.

UK Team

The team is comprised of well over 100 staff performing all of the three key functions: HR & Payroll Operation, Finance back-office and IT development. In the past year, the HR & Payroll Operation team has seen a large growth. This growth is likely to continue for the coming 1-2 years. As well as developing Ceridian's HR & Payroll products, increasingly, the IT development team is involved in delivering customer solutions for Ceridian's UK customer base. The teams are all led by a very able local management team that communicates back to senior managers in the UK.

US Team

The US team, some 80 strong, is predominantly one of IT development, focusing on product development and Crystal reporting for US customers with a small section of HR & Payroll Operation. The local manager reports to several senior managers in the US.

Canada Team

The Canadian team, some 40 strong, is split between IT development and HR & Payroll Operations. The local manager reports to several senior managers in Canada.

Central Support Team

In order to support the above teams, there is a central support team consisting of HR, Facilities, IT support, and Quality and Improvement staff. This small but vital team ensures the smooth running of our Mauritius operation. The HR team looks after the wellbeing and training of our current staff as well as attracting high quality new staff. Facilities ensures that our Cybertower offices are always in excellent condition. IT support looks after an extensive array of hardware and software required to perform our service duties to our customers. The Quality and Improvement Team ensures the maintenance on our various accreditations such as BS5750 and SAS70 compliance. This team also leads Ceridian's Six Sigma programme for Ceridian Mauritius.

 
Mauritian HR and Payroll Services
