The Ceridian Backup Care Reimbursement program can help your employees plan for the unplanned and receive reimbursement of expenses incurred for emergency care needed by a child, older relative or dependent adult in the family.Employees submit affidavits requesting reimbursement, Ceridian submits reimbursement information to the employer bi-weekly or monthly, and the employer includes the approved reimbursement amount in employees' paychecks. Your organization determines the amount of reimbursement per day, as well as the total number of days that your organization will reimburse annually per employee.

Unexpected breakdowns -- such as an ill child or an absent adult caregiver -- and anticipated breakdowns -- such as school closures for conferences, holidays or surgery for an adult -- happen in everyday life. Using Ceridian Full Service Backup Care Services, employees can resolve breakdowns in care for any age dependent (infants through the elderly), healthy or mildly ill, anytime of the day or night, every day of the year. Your organization can elect to subsidize some or all of the costs for care.Using 24/7 phone and Web access, your employees connect with backup care specialists who schedule care with a screened and contracted provider from our network. There is an array of options to choose from:

When schools are closed and businesses are open, parents can bring their children to work with them, where they are cared for in a designated area of the office with Ceridian's On-site Backup Care program.A vacation and holiday care program designed for school-aged children from kindergarten through age 12, the program is staffed by experienced child care providers who are trained and managed by Ceridian through a partnership with Bright Horizons Family Solutions and Children's Conference Care. Operated in compliance with local and state regulations, the program helps ensure the protection of the health, safety and emotional well-being of children, while respecting the workplace environment.
