MINNEAPOLIS (January 22, 2007) - Ceridian Corporation (NYSE: CEN) has named Michael Shea executive vice president of quality and service operations.

Shea was with GE for 16 years in a number of senior management positions. Most recently, he was senior vice president of operations for GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services. He will report to Kathryn V. Marinello, Ceridian's president and chief executive officer.

"Michael has a tremendous customer service and operations track record that will benefit our business greatly," said Marinello. "As he did successfully at GE, he will lead our efforts across the entire company to deliver repeatable and reliable service to our customers. We are thrilled to have him join our leadership team."

Shea received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota.
