Stuart C. Harvey, Jr. serves as Chairman of Ceridian HCM and Chairman, CEO and President of Comdata. Stuart assumed the leadership of Ceridian in August 2010, and under his leadership, Ceridian has undergone a business transformation, with a series of innovative measures positioning the Company as a dramatic new industry leader.
Prior to joining Ceridian, Stuart was CEO and President of Elavon's Global Acquiring Solutions organization and had executive management responsibility for the overall strategy, vision and operations of Elavon's worldwide business. Elavon is a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp.
Stuart joined Elavon (formerly NOVA Information Systems) in April 2003 and, based in Dublin, Ireland, led the company's international expansion, directing all business development and merger and acquisition initiatives in Europe. He was subsequently promoted to CEO and President once Nova was re-branded as Elavon and assumed global responsibility for the business in 2005.
Stuart is a graduate of Saint John's University in Minnesota, earned a law degree from The National Law Center at The George Washington University and an MBA degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Chief Executive Officer
David Ossip is Ceridian HCM’s Chief Executive Officer and the driving force behind the innovation, vision and leadership of the company. David’s commitment to helping companies save time and money while increasing employee engagement and productivity is transforming the human capital management industry.
Dayforce, a highly successful SaaS-based company founded by David, was acquired by Ceridian in 2012. David served as President of Ceridian Dayforce after the acquisition, where he led further development and growth of the revolutionary Dayforce HCM solution. Recognized as a product visionary, he was instrumental in Ceridian receiving multiple awards, including 2012 and 2013 TekTonic Awards, the Ventana Technology Innovation Award for Human Capital Management and a Gold Brandon Hall Excellence Award for Best Advance in Unique Talent Technology.
David previously founded Workbrain, where he served as CEO and President and was responsible for the company’s overall product and market direction. During his tenure at Workbrain, David was recognized with many awards for his leadership, including being named twice to Canada’s Best 50 Managed Companies, the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Arthur Kroeger College Award for Management, as well as a nationally awarded Special Citation for Technology Innovation.
In 2004, he was named to Canada’s Top 40 under 40. David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Dave MacKay is President of Ceridian HCM responsible for leading the global HCM business. Dave has extensive experience in senior leadership roles in the technology and human resource industries. He joined Ceridian over 20 years ago and has contributed significantly to the company's growth and success in product development, business process outsourcing, sales and marketing.
During his tenure as President of Ceridian Canada, Dave created a number of highly successful HR solutions from talent and workforce management to Canada's first internet payroll solution and first mobile payroll application.
A pioneer in blending e-business strategies with traditional business models, Dave is a visionary with an eye on the forces that are changing the business world today and the strategies deployed to shape the future. To support the changing needs of the business, he will leverage Ceridian’s global infrastructure to continue delivering a world-class, cloud-based human capital management solution.
Dave has held board positions with Dayforce Inc., Waterstone Human Capital’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures and Excellence Canada. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Clarkson University in New York.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Lois M. Martin is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Ceridian Corporation. She is responsible for corporate-wide financial strategy, management and reporting.
Prior to joining Ceridian, Lois most recently served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Capella Education Company, the publicly held parent company of Capella University.
She currently serves on the board of directors and as audit committee chair of Meritas International Schools. Previously, she was on the board of directors of ADC, Inc. and was also a member of the board of directors of MTS Systems Corporation. She has served in a number of senior executive positions at World Data Products and Deluxe Corporation, including senior vice president and chief financial officer. She also served as secretary/treasurer for the Deluxe Corporation Foundation and the W.R. Hotchkiss Foundation.
Lois began her career at Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) and earned her CPA while working there. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College, where she currently sits on the Board of Trustees.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer for Ceridian HCM, Paul leads all North American operations to ensure world-class customer service. Paul was appointed Chief Operating Officer following significant contributions to the company’s growth and success during his four years as COO for Ceridian Canada.
During Paul’s tenure as COO, Ceridian Canada received consistently strong Net Promoter Scores due to its single-minded focus on customer service. His key strategic initiatives included a multi-year integrated fulfillment program, designed to streamline, simplify and increase the speed of customer onboarding and service.
Prior to this role, Paul was Chief Financial Officer of Ceridian Canada for five years, responsible for safeguarding and managing more than $90 billion in funds annually from client transactions. Paul has more than twenty years experience in a variety of senior financial roles in both public practice and industry.
Paul represents Ceridian Canada on the Board of Governors of Excellence Canada (formerly the National Quality Institute). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Accountant.
Executive Vice President, Sales
As Executive Vice President of Sales for North America, Larry Dunivan is focused on revenue growth of the complete Ceridian product portfolio, and aggressively focused on the cloud business and continued success with the award-winning Dayforce HCM. Larry drives the sales team to maximize opportunities and performance. His straightforward communication approach, commitment and extensive industry knowledge leads the team to get results.
Larry joined Ceridian in 2011 as Executive Vice President, Products and Technology and was instrumental in the transformation of Ceridian to a cloud-based company.
Prior to Ceridian, Larry served as Senior Vice President of HCM Products at Lawson (now Infor) and had responsibility for product management and product development for human capital management solutions globally. He is a recognized HR industry influencer and held a variety of leadership positions with both Lawson and Cyborg Systems (now Accero).
Larry has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Northwestern University and the J.L. Kellogg School of Management.
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Scott Kitching is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Ceridian HCM, Inc., responsible for the management of all legal affairs for the company. Scott joined Ceridian over 10 years ago as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Ceridian’s Canadian affiliate, Ceridian Canada Ltd., and was appointed Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Ceridian HCM, Inc. in 2013.
In his role as General Counsel, Scott oversees a team of lawyers and legal staff, responsible for the negotiation of customer, third party supplier and vendor contracts, litigation management, intellectual property matters, corporate governance, compliance, employment law and all other legal areas. Scott also plays an active role in Ceridian's overall management and the business affairs and strategic direction of the company.
Prior to joining Ceridian, Scott practiced business law with one of Winnipeg's largest law firms, with an emphasis on sales and acquisitions, financing, insolvency / receivership and commercial leasing.
Scott was a sessional instructor in the area of Business Law for the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba for many years. He also served on the executive of the Business Law Subsection of the Manitoba Bar Association. He received his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 1994, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1995.
Chief Marketing Officer
Alan Rottenberg joined Ceridian in January 2012 as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. He has marketing responsibility for all of Ceridian's human resource solution business in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
Alan is a proven business leader with a record of helping technology companies transform themselves into industry leaders that bring state-of-the art products to market. He is recognized throughout the software industry for helping companies grow and become innovative technology leaders. During his 13 years at Cognos (now an IBM company) he held a number of senior management roles, including senior vice president of marketing and business strategies, senior vice president of business intelligence, and senior vice president of analytical applications. During his tenure, Cognos became a worldwide leader in business intelligence, achieving significant growth in market share and revenue.
Most recently, Alan was a strategic advisor and board member of several technology firms. In 2011, he was appointed chairman of the board of N-able Technologies, a global leader in remote network and systems management software. Alan also held positions at Simware Inc., Comshare Ltd. and Computer Sciences Corp.
Alan holds of Bachelor of Arts from the University of McGill in Montreal, Quebec.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Sara Hill is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Ceridian. In this role, Sara oversees the global human resources functions across Ceridian and is based in Minneapolis. She has responsibility for enhancing the employee experience, increasing employee engagement, and developing people and talent management strategies to bring Ceridian to the next level.
Prior to joining Ceridian, Sara most recently served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at U.S. Bancorp, providing HR leadership for the Wealth Management and Securities Services division. Sara has worked at Fidelity Investments as Vice President of Management Effectiveness. She has also been a consultant with The HayGroup, where she led HR consulting engagements primarily in the areas of organizational effectiveness and management development.
Sara serves on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Children’s Museum. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA, with a concentration in HR, from Vanderbilt University.
Senior Vice President, Implementation
As Senior Vice President, Implementation, Adrian is responsible for the operations, growth and strategy of the Implementation team. He has extensive industry experience building high-performing teams and uses proven cloud methodologies to achieve customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Ceridian in January 2014, Adrian spent ten years at Netsuite, where he was most recently the Vice President of Professional Services, managing the Retail, Wholesale Distribution and Manufacturing verticals. While at NetSuite, Adrian was responsible for the successful completion of over 2,500 projects.
Previous to Netsuite, Adrian provided enterprise-level ERP consulting for strategic accounts for the Baan Company.
Adrian holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Western Ontario and a post-graduate AIT diploma from the Information Technology Institute.
Vice President, Product Management, Dayforce
As Vice President, Product Management, Dayforce, Rob oversees the product portfolio strategy, in addition to the product message and go-to-market process. With his extensive experience, Rob is recognized for his expertise in product management, product marketing, and product design.
Before he joined Ceridian in October 2013, Rob spent five years working at IBM, with his most recent position having been Chief Designer, Business Analytics . His previous position was as their Director, Office of Strategy - Business Intelligence and Performance Management. Before his time at IBM, Rob worked at Cognos for sixteen years; his last position there was as Chief Strategy Officer.
Rob is also an accomplished author, writing “Smooth Sailing on Rough Seas: 8 Principles of High-performance Business” in 2002, as well as numerous other articles about business performance management and technology trends. In his spare time, Rob serves the Ottawa technology community by having been an active member on various boards throughout the years.
Managing Director, UK and Ireland
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Mauritius
Since July 2007, Vidia Mooneegan has been Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Ceridian Mauritius. In this role, Vidia is responsible for the operations of Ceridian HCM Mauritius, as well as the Ceridian Global Workforce Strategy team. He is known to be a goal oriented and results driven entrepreneur, who has over 20 years of experience at the executive level. Vidia is proud of his motivational management style and record of building highly motivated teams and producing leaders.
Prior to Ceridian, Vidia was the Managing Director for TNT Business Solutions. There he was responsible for operations management, strategic planning, business development, P&L accountability, budgeting/finance, marketing, in addition to quality and safety management systems.
Vidia holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Honours in Mechanical Engingeering from Aston University located in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Managing Director, International Payroll Solutions
Jon oversees Ceridian’s International Payroll Solutions (IPS) business, which provides global payroll solutions to hundreds of Ceridian customers worldwide. Through our advanced technology platform and support teams across the UK, North America and Mauritius, IPS ensures that clients remain compliant with local regulations, control costs and have visibility into their global workforce no matter where in the world they do business. In addition, Jon oversees our strategic development efforts, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships. Jon joined Ceridian in 2011 as Chief Corporate Development and Product Innovation Officer where he had additional responsibility for Ceridian’s US product portfolio.
Prior to Ceridian, Jon served as Sr. Vice President, Strategic Planning and Enterprise Development at Elavon, a leading global payments technology company. In this capacity, Jon led Elavon's global product and strategic development efforts, overseeing the management and development of Elavon's end-to-end payment solutions as well as Elavon's expansion efforts outside North America. Jon has served as Director of Global Technology Alliances for webMethods, Inc., which was acquired by Software AG, and Vice President of Development for AllAdvantage.com, a venture backed Bay Area technology company. He has held investment banking positions with Raymond James, Montgomery Securities and Interstate/Johnson Lane.
Jon is a graduate of Princeton University and holds a J.D. from the Emory School of Law, with a certificate in Technology Commercialization. He serves on the Board of the Atlanta ACG (Association for Corporate Growth), the Board of Advisors for the Greater Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Atlanta CEO Council.
