Ceridian Announces XOXO Human Capital Management Customer Success Award Winners At INSIGHTS 2014

Ceridian Recognizes Customer Achievements & Innovation With Dayforce HCM Technology & LifeWorks Employee Assistance Program

Las Vegas, NV, July 14, 2014 – Ceridian announces the winners of the 2014 XOXO Awards at the company’s annual user conference, INSIGHTS 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The annual awards program recognizes customers who have realized outstanding results leveraging a combination of Ceridian products, services, best practices and transformative technology for human capital management.

Eighteen customers representing a range of industries were nominated for a Ceridian XOXO Award in one of three categories including: Astounding Transformation; Employee Development & Engagement and Peace of Mind Compliance.

A three-way tie in the category of Astounding Transformation occurred based on results from an independent panel of judges from Wise Consulting, D2xchange and Sability.  The five winners of the 2014 Ceridian XOXO Awards are:

Astounding Transformation 

  • Aéropostale, Inc. for transitioning from legacy mainframe payroll processing to real-time preview and adjustments of payroll. Their end to end HR/Payroll cycle times were reduced by 45%.
  • The Rush Fitness Complex for achieving an annual ROI of 158% with HR, Payroll and Workforce Management solutions and a payback period of less than 12 months.
  • Verso Paper Corp. for streamlining its HR processes, gaining real-time visibility into scheduling and delivering accurate and compliant pay across the organization.

Employee Development and Engagement

  • Nurtur Health, Inc. for delivering an EAP solution wrapped around Nurtur's worklife solution to provide a partnership benefit that touches all areas of employees emotional and worklife needs.

 Peace of Mind Compliance

  • VCA Inc. for implementing a Workforce Management solution that defines rules and policies to facilitate compliance with ever-changing legislation and requirements.

All 2014 Award submissions were evaluated on one or more of the following metrics, depending on the chosen category: operational efficiencies gained; increased productivity; reduced turnover/absenteeism;improved/measurable impact on employee health and wellness, and proven comprehensive compliance.  The winners were selected via blind judging by Ceridian XOXO Awards Diamond Sponsors: Wise Consulting, D2xchange and Sability.
