Nucleus Research Names Ceridian The Leader In Workforce Management Technology

Dayforce Human Capital Management’s Award Winning, Single Application Architecture Backed By Workforce Analytics Continues To Deliver Return On Investment In Workforce Management

Minneapolis, MN, November 11, 2014 - Ceridian announces it has been named the leader in workforce management technology by Nucleus Research for Dayforce HCM. The Nucleus ranking re-affirms Dayforce HCM’s Workforce Management (WFM) capabilities to optimize organizations using analytics to understand the efficiency of labor allocations relative to returns on labor investments.

The Technology Value Matrix Second Half 2014 WFM is Nucleus’s review of product advancement and vendors’ ability to support workforce management with compliance capabilities, efficiency and insight. Leaders in workforce management are focusing their efforts on developing analytics to increase the accuracy and relevance of labor management that looks at overall workforce productivity. These vendors are also providing a means to use statistical analysis to identify areas of improvement and mounting their functionality on analytics engines to extend workforce data to operations management, thereby increasing the return on investment (ROI) of deployment.

“Dayforce HCM gives customers cloud-based capabilities and access to real-time data and results across all human capital management domains including workforce management,” says David Ossip, CEO of Ceridian. “Whether standalone or as part of the HCM application, Dayforce Workforce Management continues to deliver huge returns for our customers.”

Earlier this year Guitar Center was recognized for its deployment of Dayforce Workforce Management that delivered over 1000% ROI and nearly $8 million in annual benefit.

“Ceridian’s origins in workforce management and reporting have allowed it to branch out into full HCM while maintaining a strong native analytics platform,” says Zach Chertok, analyst at Nucleus Research. “As Ceridian builds out its HCM functionality from its WFM base, we expect that the organization will continue to deepen its workforce management functionality and extend the HCM data further into operations management.”
